Terms of service

("Madame Riviera", "we"). By placing an order on the site, the customer confirms they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Products and availability
Madame Riviera works in collaboration with selected international suppliers. Product availability may vary and, as a result, delivery times may differ depending on the item and its origin. Estimated times are shown on our Shipping & Delivery page and at checkout. Product images are for illustrative purposes: packaging and formulations may be changed by the manufacturer.

Formation of the contract
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. The contract is concluded only when we send the dispatch confirmation. Should a product be unavailable, or an obvious error occur in the price or description, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full, with no further obligation on either side.

Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros and include any applicable taxes. The price displayed at checkout is the final price payable by the customer; any shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm your order. For orders shipped to non-EU countries, customs duties and charges may apply and are borne by the customer (see Shipping & Delivery). An invoice is available on request by writing to concierge@madameriviera.com.

Use of the site and orders
The customer undertakes to provide truthful, complete details when ordering. Products are intended for the consumer's personal use: purchase for resale is not permitted. Madame Riviera reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, breach these Terms, or come from individuals who have previously abused our policies.

Right of withdrawal and returns
Consumer customers are entitled to the right of withdrawal and to the protections provided under EU law, as set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. Please note in particular the exclusion from withdrawal of sealed cosmetic products once opened, for reasons of hygiene.

Cosmetic products and correct use
The products sold are made by third-party manufacturers and comply with the applicable European regulations. We invite you always to read the label, warnings and ingredient list before use. The content of this site is provided for information purposes and does not constitute medical or dermatological advice.

Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, images, graphics, logos and trade marks — is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without the written permission of Madame Riviera. Product brand names belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability
Madame Riviera is not the manufacturer of the products sold: responsibility for the manufacture and safety of each product lies with the responsible person indicated by the manufacturer on the packaging. To the extent permitted by law, Madame Riviera is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or from the improper use of the products, nor for individual reactions to ingredients listed on the label. The consumer's mandatory rights and the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity remain unaffected.

Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Italian law. This choice does not deprive the consumer of the mandatory protections afforded by the law of their country of habitual residence within the European Union. Consumer customers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes
Madame Riviera reserves the right to update these Terms. The applicable version is the one published at the time of purchase.
